An agreement has been signed for the supply of the t110 GSM-GPRS handset from Telit Communications plc, a wireless communications developer and distributor, to Wind, a mobile operator in Italy. The t110 clamshell dual-band features an external and internal display, a 65k colour display, 300k-pixel camera and 6x zoom and can be used to make short videos. In addition it features WAP browser 2. 0, Java script reader and voice recorder and can be used to send and receive EMS, MMS and SMS messages. It provides games and polyphonic customised ringtones with 40 different tones and weighs 75g. The agreement enables Telit to move forward in its reintroduction and development of the Enhanced Value Added Reseller (EVAR) division. The company has launched eight new models in the last month and the EVAR section of the business is expected to continue to grow in 2006.
